The Albert Chain is a chain with a bar for attaching a buttonhole and a pocket watch to the clip.
This is an Albert chain made of British sterling silver around 1900.
It has a deep green bloodstone with a touch of red and a red carnelian swivel fob, a large type with a lion carving on a sterling silver base.
The chain links are of the antique type, with a thicker center.
Although there is some wear and scratches overall, this chain has an antique feel to it.
