This is a work by John Sherwood of Birmingham, England, around 1845.
The beautifully shaped body is decorated with embossed floral motifs.
This is a beautiful coffee pot with beautiful decorations all over, including a sheep's head finial, a bird's head spout, and the legs and handle.
There is no peeling of the plating and it is in such good condition that it is hard to believe it was made nearly 180 years ago.

Function: ★★★★☆ Slight deterioration but no major issues
Although there is some wear and small scratches due to age, the plating is not peeling and it is in beautiful condition.
The interior has been thoroughly cleaned, but some dirt remains.
- The bottom is stamped with the manufacturer's silver plate.
- There is no wobble in the hinges when opening and closing the lid.
The lid knob is a little loose
