This is a full set of 12 pairs (24 pieces) of dessert cutlery with mother-of-pearl handles, crafted by the prestigious "John Round & Son Ltd," a leading workshop in Sheffield, England, around 1900.

The luster of the mother-of-pearl, which transitions gracefully from pure white to iridescent hues, catches the eye, as do the three-dimensional geometric reliefs engraved on the sterling silver ferrules. The blades are adorned with delicate hand-engraved flowing floral motifs and geometric patterns, characteristic of the Art Nouveau period.

A luxurious 12-pair set that will elegantly grace afternoon tea or post-dinner dessert times with large groups. The warmth and exquisite presence unique to antiques will transform your daily tea time into a special moment.

As these are over 100 years old, minor scratches and signs of aging are present, but there are no noticeable cracks in the mother-of-pearl, and the blade plating retains a beautiful luster. It will be delivered in its original wooden box with a brass plate.
