We would like to introduce you to antique British breakfast dishes.
A breakfast dish is a tableware used to heat breakfast foods such as bacon and eggs. It is made by placing a plate on top of hot water inside.
This is a breakfast dish made from Old Sheffield Plate, thought to date from around 1825.
There is a screw-in plug on the back that you can remove and add hot water to keep your breakfast warm.
The edge of the lid and the handle are decorated with three-dimensional ornaments, and the bottom center of the lid and the inner plate are engraved with a tree crest, which is thought to be the family crest of the owner at the time.
Considering it is 200 years old, there is little wear on the plating and it is in good condition.
We hope this once-in-a-lifetime encounter will be a special one for you!
