1839 British Antique Wriggle Pattern Sterling Silver Card Case, 83g, Joseph Willmore
SKU: 202508155679
We would like to introduce you to an antique British sterling silver card case.
This is a work by Joseph Willmore, Birmingham, England, 1839.
The entire surface is decorated with a squiggly pattern called the Wriggle pattern.
The cartouche is engraved with a monogram that appears to be the initials of the first owner.
It is in excellent condition with little wear or damage, making it hard to believe it was made over 180 years ago.
The silver is thick and there is little distortion, and it is large enough to fit current business cards without any problems, and can hold more than 20 business cards.
I hope this "once in a lifetime" encounter will be a special one!
