This is a work by the George Unite, Birmingham, England, 1900.
The entire surface is decorated with an antique-style botanical scroll pattern.
The cartouche is engraved with a monogram that appears to be the initials of the first owner.
It is large enough to fit current business cards without any problems and can hold more than 15 business cards.
The gold plating inside is still intact, making the business cards less likely to get dirty.
