Mid-19th Century British Antique Sterling Silver Tea Caddy Spoon Reid & Sons
SKU: 202412204938
We would like to introduce you to an antique British sterling silver tea caddy spoon.
This is a work by the British company Reid & Sons from around the mid-19th century.
It is stamped with the rare "Newcastle" hallmark, but as there is no date letter the exact year of manufacture is unknown.
Reid & Sons was active from around 1848 to 1867, so this is probably from around this time.
The bowl is plain and undecorated, but the handle is intricately carved and features a monogram that resembles the first owner's initials.
We hope this once-in-a-lifetime encounter will be a special one for you!
