1893 British antique double-sided sterling silver card case with accordion pocket, 126g, Sampson Mordan
SKU: 202406084384
We would like to introduce you to an antique British sterling silver card case.
This is a card case that would have been custom-made for an upper-class person at the time.
The surface decoration is so beautiful that no two pieces are alike.
This is a work by Sampson Mordan of Birmingham, England, from 1893.
Both sides are intricately decorated with a botanical scroll pattern, and the cartouche is engraved with a monogram that is believed to be the initials of the first owner.
It has a double opening and has four cloth accordion-style pockets on the inside.
Not only can it be used as a card case, but it can also hold bills and a few coins, so it can also be used as a small wallet.
*The cash shown in the photo is not included.
We hope this once-in-a-lifetime encounter will be a special one for you!
