This is a very old sugar tong.
There is no date letter indicating the year of manufacture, but based on the duty mark and manufacturer, it is estimated to be from around the end of the 18th century.
As expected, there is some wear and tear over time, but the decorations remain intact, and there is no problem with its practicality as sugar tongs.
