This is a work by British artist Benjamin Grayson from around 1890.
The entire piece is decorated with flowers and leaves, and the finial is in the shape of a flower.
Since the base metal is Britannia metal, there is some blackening on the inside, but the outside is in beautiful condition with no peeling of the plating.

- Although there is some wear due to age, the plating is not peeling and it is in beautiful condition.
-The interior has some blackening typical of Britannia metal, but it has been cleaned thoroughly.
- The manufacturer's silver plate is engraved on the bottom.
- There is no wobble in the hinges when opening and closing the lid.
