Here is a set of serving cutlery for serving fish dishes, circa 1870.
The blades are decorated with Asian motifs such as fans and butterflies.
The handle is made of mother-of-pearl (white pearl oyster), and the seams are beautifully decorated.
The wooden case has some pain but fits perfectly.
