This is a work from the American magazine "Meriden Britannia" around 1898.
Meriden Britannia was founded in 1852 and was at one time the world's largest silver manufacturer.
This is a pure silver bowl about 30cm in diameter.
The edges are decorated with large embossed lily-like flowers.
This is gorgeous silverware with a different style to British silverware.
