This is a work by WALKER & HALL, a silverware manufacturer that was also a supplier to the royal family during the reign of Queen Victoria.
The concave shape of the bowl part and the pierced decoration make this a very beautiful basket.
The handle is movable and the four legs are beautifully decorated.
It's deep, so you can put bread and fruit on it.
