It is called a niello case, which is a silver case inlaid with black alloy material.
The niello inlay on the case back has a floral design and is entirely gold-plated.
Niello and gold plating have peeled off and the dial has repair marks,
It is a clock with an antique atmosphere including it.
The overhaul history is unknown, but the balance swing is good and it is ticking and moving well.
