1881 British antique silver plated teapot 580g Elkington
SKU: 171911824
This is a work made in 1881 by Elkington, England, which put electroplating to practical use for the first time in the world.
The round and flat form of the body is engraved with a botanical scroll pattern.
The crest on the side is the coat of arms of the "Kerr clan" of Scotland, "Sero Sed Serio" (late but authentic).
A family precept that means that is attached.
The finials (knobs) that look like flower buds are also cute.
We hope this lovely antique silver will add some color to your day!
