We present to you an antique British sterling silver cutlery set.
This was called a Christening set, and was apparently given as a birth gift to a child born to wealthy families at the time.
This is a very old set of two sterling silver spoons and forks made in 1851.
It seems that it originally came with a fork, but unfortunately it has been lost.
Both the blade and handle are made of pure silver, and the handle has a shell motif.
It is carved with a strangely designed pattern.
Comes in original leather covered box.
We hope this lovely antique silver will add color to your everyday life!
