A set of six pairs of silver-plated fish cutlery by the esteemed Henry Wilkinson of Sheffield, England, dating to around 1880.
The blades feature fern engravings reflecting the naturalism of the period, while the neat beaded borders on the handles lend an elegant touch. A few handles have slight gaps at the joints, but this does not affect their use and can be appreciated as part of the character of an antique over 140 years old. They bring a quiet elegance to fish dinners enjoyed with wine on the weekend or to a formal table set for guests.
