1873 British Antique Ornate Dial Key-Wind Pocket Watch, 55mm Diameter, H Osburn, For Parts/Repair
SKU: 202603286331
We would like to introduce an antique British pocket watch.
This pocket watch, made in 1873, features a beautifully engraved metal dial and a sterling silver case.
The movement bears the inscription "H Osburn," but further details are unknown. The inner lid is inscribed with "John Turnbull 1874," which appears to be the name of the first owner.
It has a thick sterling silver case, an intricately decorated metal dial, and blued hands. The golden movement is also adorned with hand-engraved decorations by a skilled craftsman.
It weighs a considerable 157g, with the sterling silver case alone likely accounting for nearly 100g.
Currently, it is not working even when wound. There is a possibility that it could be repaired, but this time we are offering it "as is" for those who appreciate its historical beauty as an "art craft."
