We would like to introduce you to a vintage British sterling silver tankard.
This work was created by the Yorkshire Mint in Birmingham, England in 1977.
It was produced in a limited edition of 2,500 pieces to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom.
A "tanker" is a large mug that is primarily used for drinking beer.
The front features a large British coat of arms and the side features the arms of the College of Arms.
The cup is made entirely of pure silver and weighs 338g, making it quite heavy.
This is one of the limited edition items and comes with a certificate and a newspaper advertisement from that time.
