This is a work by John Henry Potter of Sheffield, England, circa 1905.
This pot has a round, drum-shaped design and is decorated with beautiful carvings featuring floral motifs.
Since the base metal is Britannia metal (pewter), the inside has a characteristic black discoloration, but the outside is in beautiful condition with no peeling of the plating.
