Vintage American Silver Overlay Divided Bowl with UV Glow Glass

Introducing vintage American bowls.

This technique, called silver overlay, involves covering the surface of glass with pure silver decorations, and was widely produced in the United States from the late 19th century to the early 20th century.
This is a bowl with a divider in the center.
It has a divider so you can put two types of sweets or snacks in it.
American-made glass from this era contains small amounts of uranium, and although it is not what is commonly known as uranium glass, it glows fluorescently when exposed to ultraviolet light in the dark.
