This is a work by Shaw & Fisher that is thought to date to the mid-Victorian period in Britain.
The lower half has a sturdy round shape and has a considerable capacity.
The finial (lid knob) has a floral design and the entire piece is beautifully decorated.
It is in beautiful condition with no peeling of the plating.

Although there is some wear and small scratches due to age, the plating is not peeling and it is in beautiful condition.
