Late 19th Century British Antique Silver Plate Teapot Shaw & Fisher

We would like to introduce you to an antique British silver plate teapot.

This is a work by Shaw & Fisher that is thought to date from the mid-Victorian period in Britain .
The bottom half has a sturdy round shape and has a considerable capacity.
The finial (lid knob) has a floral design and the entire piece is beautifully decorated.
It is in beautiful condition with no peeling of the plating.

Appearance: ★★★★☆ Excellent condition with no noticeable scratches or stains

Function: ★★★★☆ Slight deterioration but no major issues

- There is some wear and tear over time and small scratches, but the plating is not peeling and it is in good condition.
The interior has some blackening typical of Britannia metal, but has been thoroughly cleaned.
- There is a manufacturer's mark on the bottom
The lid opens and closes smoothly with no rattle in the hinges.
There is no wobbling of the legs
