1920s British antique Russell pocket watch, gold plated hunter case, in good working order
SKU: 202410124716
We will be introducing antique pocket watches from Russell, a prestigious British watchmaker founded in 1848 and which was the official supplier to the British Royal Family during the reign of Queen Victoria.
It dates from around the 1920s, with a Swiss-made movement and an American-made gold-plated case.
The dial and movement feature a Mercury-winged shoed wheel and the inscription "TEMPUS FUGIT".
"TEMPUS FUGIT" means "time flies" in Latin.
It is unknown whether it has been overhauled, but the balance wheel is in good condition and ticks along smoothly.
We hope that this once-in-a-lifetime encounter will be a special one!
