This is a card case that would have been custom-made for an upper-class person at the time.
The surface decoration is so beautiful that no two pieces are alike.

This is a work by George Randle of Birmingham, England, from 1897.
The entire piece is engraved with a leaf motif.
The cartouche has the first owner's initials engraved on it.
It is large enough to fit current business cards without any problem and can hold about 15 business cards.
There are some small scratches and dents, but the item is in good condition with minimal distortion.
