We would like to introduce you to an antique pocket watch from Swiss Stauffer & Co.

Stauffer & Co. is a company that grew in the UK as a watch importer rather than a manufacturer.
We imported Swiss watches, mainly IWC, to the UK.
Most of the watches are from IWC, but I don't know which manufacturer this one is from.
This is a sterling silver half-hunter (demi-hunter) case watch from circa 1893, which allows you to read the time even with the lid closed.
It is unknown whether it has been overhauled, but the balance wheel is in good condition and ticks along smoothly.

Appearance: ★★★★☆ Excellent condition with no noticeable scratches or stains

Function: ★★★★☆ Maintenance history unknown but in good working condition (daily accuracy within 5 minutes)

- Case: There is a dent at 12 o'clock on the side, but it has been well-maintained and is in beautiful condition.
The mechanism for opening the lid by pressing the crown is smooth thanks to the spring.

Dial: There is a thin hairline around 12 o'clock, but it is barely noticeable.
Other: There are small marks on the windshield of the front cover, but there are no scratches.
Accuracy: Approximately 1 minute per day when measured with a flat timegrapher
